Matcha Green Tea Frappé (VIDEO)

This fresh and frosty frappé is infused with matcha green tea - made from the finest green tea tips and loaded with antioxidants, vitamin C and chlorophyll. Highly alkaline and electrolyte-rich, this drink will keep you cool and your body smokin' hot.

INGREDIENTS:

Yields: 2-4 servings

1 cup raw almonds, soaked 8 hours
4 cups fresh coconut water
2 tbs matcha green tea powder
2 tbs palm sugar
1 vanilla bean, scraped
1 pinch sea salt
handful of ice made from filtered, alkaline or coconut water

PROCEDURE:

Place soaked, drained almonds in a blender with the coconut water and blend at high speed until smooth. Pour through a nut milk bag, fine strainer, or sieve and extract as much liquid as possible.
Return the strained almond milk to the blender and add matcha green tea powder, palm sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth. Add ice and blend again until smooth and frothy.

SERVICE

Serve immediately.
