Homemade DIY Vanilla Extract

Homemade vanilla extract is as easy at it gets. Vanilla + vodka + time = ample, inexpensive stash of this divinely flavored extract. I like to split the vanilla beans so the seeds mix in with the extract as it steeps. Every fall I make a big batch to bottle for holiday gifts. It's a gift that keeps giving!
